My male Ciclasoma oblongum did a number on the females caudal fin. Basically he shredded it down very far and she got a fungal infection due to me not keeping up on maintainence. I've since moved her to a quarantine tank and cured the infection but essentially she has no caudal fin now, it's right to the base of her body. She's doing fine in her 10 gallon quarantine, water at 80F, using salt at 1 tbsp per 5 gallons and eating, so I'm sure she's going to live but I was wondering what you think the possibility of her tail growing back or will she be a tail-less fish for the rest of her life?
