I have a small CL it's maybe 4.5-5" and when I got Him he looked normal no oddball patterns. but here lately I've noticed that he's getting a faint spot on both sides by his stomach in front of his last bar.

When I got him he was only about 1.5" and I've had him for about 2 years. and I've just recently noticed this new "spot"

So could this be a new spot on him or something else? And will they gain in their patterns as they get older? Like say a spot forms or a saddle back will turn into a full stripe?

We were just talkin about that in another thread the other day. I think we concluded that they CAN change slightly over time, but that most dont. I think Lupin or eWurm said to be careful if the new spots aren't symmetrical, but dont quote me on that...

Cool Do you have a link to that thread?

I know that this one is showing signs of spots on both sides at the same place. So I would guess that it's symmetrical. but the "spots" are not pronounced yet but they are visible. I might try to take a pic of him if I get around to it.
