I decided it was a good idea to keep cories in my fry tanks
1) Just because I like cories I have 3 different species so far.
2) They do a good job cleaning up the tank
Then yesterday my ever generous Ruby green African cichlid gave me yet another batch of fry.
When I looked in the tank later that night it didn’t look like all the fry were still there.
It could have been because they were hiding or maybe the cories were feasting on them.
Will corries be able to catch and eat my African cichlid fry?

if the fry would hide in the gravel then yes , but the general rule with MOST (not all ;)) fish is if it can fit they'll eat it... but as far as catching goes, they arent generally a fast fish

Wouldn't trust 'em with fry...
Have you tried this before? Cories are not predatory nor are they that overzealous in looking for prey. They may eat the fry by accident but they will not certainly feast on the fry by preying on them.

I wouldnt trust any adult fish with fry...

Most fish will eat fry, they're kinda helpless. Mosquitofish/Betas/Mollies will all eat fry

I am aware of that but you compared those fish you mentioned to cories. Both are different stories. We cannot compare each species similarly. Each species is unique.
