Will fish eat so much that there bellies explode?

Will they? I think I heard of goldfish doing this, but is it true?

I had a chinese algae eater do it, so maybe some fish will and others won't.

I’ve heard puffers won’t stop eating. They look like they’re gonna explode after feedings. Takes the name blowfish to a whole new level lol!
