will hap ali really breed with ob dragons?

i was told they wont but looks like my hap is trying to.

OB HAPS ob dragons blood they are all mutts so if they mix up does it matter? Its just for color right

the ob blue and white is that a peacock cichlid or a hap ali?

Yes they can breed. Any mouth brooder from lake Malawi can cross with another. It's normally frowned upon to purposely create hybrids, bit o.b.'s are generally accepted. Your electric blue looks like a fryeri/peacock cross, that would explain the taller body.

since dragon bloods are mutts and have mbuna in them, do breeders cross hap fryi in there to bring in new colors?
