I noticed my kelberi got bit by my Armatus a few days ago.. At first it didn't look too bad. It looks like the Armatus slit the membrane of the eye. I tried my best to capture it on picture but I couldn't get a good shot. Basically it looks like the Armatus slit the membrane and some of the eye membrane oozed out. But it looks like it hardened up? It looks somewhat cloudy today and it looks like the eye is trying to heal itself.

He's not blind, I know that.. Will his eye go back to normal? I hope the bubble part flattens down.. If not I will have to cut it off.

I'm sorry Mike. I didn't want this to happen to one of your 24k's. :(

He was already owned by my bigger armatus.. got two big holes right next to the gills. But he healed up nicely and I sold the bigger armatus.

Put the kelberi in this tank for a week and then added my armatus in hopes they would be okay together, but it did not work out the way i wanted it to. :nilly:

I am out of tanks so there is no more moving fish around. Hopefully nature will take its course and they will work things out. I've already dosed the tank with salt and melafix.

I have no idea, try water changes and meds. Any other special treatment might also work.

Look like he's healing, but like Li said, only time will tell. Just maintain clean water (looks cripsy clean in your pix,) Chung, to prevent infection.

melafix, works wonders

Truth...

Looks like it is almost completely healed, but my armatus went after another victim.

This one wasn't so fortunate. Looks like its not going to make it.
