New to parrot fish. I have a blood parrot 4.5'' in with a black convict 2'' and jd 2'' and fire mouth 2''. will the parrot hold his own for life?
 
In the 55 if I remember correctly. No. A 55 is ok with maybe a single JD. But the bBlood parrot is at most risk from the con and firemouth. My firemouth relentlessly picked on a Bp in a 55 and only let up once I upgraded. I suggest just watching them but be ready to pull someone or upgrade

I don't know why i ask questions i know the answer to. I guess i just hope the out come will be different haha. Just like when i had a red devil i swore he was different and would work with my other fish. Not so much.... Mainly just want info on parrot. Never had one just wondering how they are with others. I realize the others are like kids now, and when they mature so will there aggression.
 
Ya don't think im getting two. I'm not really a huge fan of parrots, it was my wife's pick :) figured i would let her pick one lol. she doesn't really care about fish so having her pick one makes my life easier.

+1 I also let the Mrs choose one, now she's more interested in see new pickups, rather then asking the price. ;) or why there's a new tank in garage. That's how I ended up with goldies...
