I have 3 rt I got from petsmart and 1kkp and 1 blood parrot in the same tank, they get along great for now. I have 2 rt I got from bluegrass aquatics, I tried putting the two from blue grass in the tank with the others and one of them instantly started locking up with every fish in the tank. If I leave him in there will he eventually stop or will he kill them all. I have them in a 55 gal and they are all about the same size except for the kkp and blood parrot they are bigger.

In my experience they'll work it out and it'll subside. You can add some driftwood or arrange the tank temporarily to create distractions in the tank. They're just establishing heirarchy and boundaries. Kepp an eye on them, but I think you'll be fine. If necessary, you could add a divider and do a slow addition.

When I add a new fish, I make sure all the lights off in the tank, it seems to calm everyone down. I leave the lights off for several days.

Kamfa and all flowerhorn can be pretty nasty. When they are young and small they will test each other for dominance but once they reach sexual maturity they willl start killing each other. You dont see alot of tanks with more than a single fh hybrid for a reason.

I, on the other hand, find that adding driftwood and stuff only increases the tendency to create territories to defend. If one has to mix several agro cichlids, the less the better, imho.

Even if you find a short term solution this will never work out long term. Usually when you have multiple you have to divide them. Kamfa are very nasty so at some point I would expect you to only have one left unless you divide or move to other tanks.

if and when those red texas get bigger, they will terrorize the other tank mates. The size of the tank will probably be okay for a bit, but as they grow the texas will probably kill each other. Texas are pretty aggressive pricks. I picked up 3 Vontehillo's recently and they beat the **** out of each other and they are about an 1"-1.5"

flowerhorn will kill everything unless it pairs or your fish can take a beating.
