i have i believe a female jag about 5 inchs. right now shes in a 90 gal by herself, good filtration with xp 3 and aqua clear 100 running, feeding bio gold hik* and tetra sticks, shes eatting very well and has nice blues and greens along her fins so i know she is in good shape. my question is will keeping her temp around 82 help her grow faster? i would love for her to grow up as fast as i can, jopefully ill have a 150 soon to put her in i know that will help.

high temperature = higher metabolism = more eating.

So yes i believe so.

That with multiply feedings and overabundant water changes will excellerate growth.

She will grow faster but it will also shorten her lifespan!!

YES i have found that a higher temp does accelerate growth when used in conjunction with a varied diet and a weekly 50% WC.
