Will I be overstocked?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This is what I want my finished product to have:

29 gal.
-------
1 male betta (already have)
2 female bettas (already have)
4 or 5 zebra/leopard danios
1 albino cory (already have)
3 paleatus cories (already have)
1 panda cory (already have)
2 julii cories
POSSIBLY 1 emerald green cory

Will I be overstocked???

i'd say so.. and also good luck with the betta's.. but try it out, its ur budget so do what u want. but i think your cramped, especially after they growout.

Id stick with the "already have "fish

anythings possible, just fo rhow long is the real question... i wish u luck..just make as many hiding spots as u can,(leaves, rocks, wood) increase your chances

The bettas they sell in the lfs's arent as aggro to their species as they used to be. Not saying they wont fight but they still might. As long as you have good filteration and do w/c you should be fine with that stocklist

Yeah, my male barely pays any attention to them, but it's obvious the gurls love him :D

Okay then. I might sub the 4-5 danios for 4-5 glolights anyway

:OMG: I cannot believe that you would COMPLETELY OVERSTOCK YOUR TANK like that :( :( :( YOur complete and utter disrespect for the fish is saddenning to me :D :D

What'd you say a 29 g.. Heck no... That sound nice to me.. maybe the floor will be a little crowded.. but as for the rest
strictly my personal opinion
that is an adequately stocked tank... ;) But thats just me :)

I had more little fish than that at one point in my 29 gallons and never had any problems, with your water change regiment i dont see any water quality becoming an issue.

I think it would work assuming all of your fish are small. (under 2") Buy a filter rated for 50g tanks tho. Thats my opinion.
