Will it be ok to feed my arowana a scorpion?

Like the title says, I found a scorpion in my yard and it's about 3 inches. I'm trying to feed my arowana (20") I plan on snipping off the stinger first

Not really worth the risk and trouble as long as you have your regular foods that you normally use.
