I am considering getting a couple of Jager heaters, the problem I have is that they are not fully submersible.

I have used other heaters that were not designed for full submersion with out any problems even though they were totally underwater.

So people with Jager experience give me a hand:)

It works for me. I've heard that they had to add that because they are made in a location that requires it to be certified or something along those lines.

I wouldn't alter the recommended user instructions on ANYTHING that can put my family's, my pet's, and my own life at risk. IMO, it's just a stupid thing to attempt. If you want to run a fully submerged heater then, buy a submersible heater. Plain and simple.
