I currently have a 15 gallon acrylic tank with 3 female and 1 male swordtails, 3 very small corys and a clown pleco. IMO, I believe this is fully stocked.

My niece, however, would like to add an additional male and 3 female fish that are in another (12 gallon) tank.

She agreed to go with the consensus of this forum :)

I have 2 filters. One is a 30 gallon penguin with bio wheel, and the other is an internal filter called clear-free which runs on an airline, but has a cartridge.
I do weekly 15-20% water changes and we check parameters twice a week. It has several plants and decorations and a heater.
Oh, and it is a 15 long (with top, of course :))

knock yourself out . . . IMO, it sounds like it's maybe over-stocked, but I also don't believe in hard-and-fast rules about that; it depends on fish-load, maintenance habits, type of fish, etc.

you should be just fine.
