Well, in my current tank that my current catfish passed away in. My parents are wanting to put their big angelfish in with my tank. Mainly due to it bullying the other fish. Do you think that it would survive in my tank? Or are the fish possibly too agressive to be in there? Please reply and tell me if it is a good or bad idea.

Might be ok short term while you find a better home for it but more than likely it will get shreded. Hate to be a member of the overstock bunch but you will need to get a bigger tank than a 55 for your stock list.
Short term at best. It would be a different story if the angel were in the tank first. Completely change the tank up if you decide to try it.
