G'day all

Been having a few ideas swishing about in that noggin of mine recently. I have always liked the larger vegetarian cichlids, and now I want to set up a tank with them.

The tank is a 190 gallon, 6'x2'x2.5'. It will have a sand substrate and a few large rocks with some nice bogwood.

This is the planned stock.
1 or 2 bocourti
1 or 2 synspilla
1 or 2 pearsei
1 pair of Firemouths
1 pair of Sajicas
1 pair of Baysnooks

What do you think?

Sounds ok. Pearsei are at rocklea exotic fish, Bocourti at Pet city as are sajica and the others anywhere.

Do you know what prices they are at do you know? I haven't seen Sajice here, ever, apart from there, so the prices are probably elevated right?

$$$ will vary just shop around. Sajica i've seen a lot more recently.
Pay what it's worth to you.

Okay, turns out i'm getting myself three bocourti! :headbang2 Stoked!

But now the problem is, can I have three? I will drop the number of synspilla and pearsei to one, so it leaves me with 5 large cichlids. Thoughts?

Hey Eric are these Ronny's if so they are pretty much adults so you may have to see what goes with them ok as they grow quite big, but then again that's why we're on MFK.

Dave

Indeed these are Ronny's.

I suppose we will just have to see. If it doesn't work I am sure I could trade for smaller fish.
