It is overstocked, it has a top fin 20 and tetra whisper 40. If I add a marineland 160 canister will it have benefits. I do 2 50% changes a week. Or is it just a waste of money?
Canisters are never a waste
Much more bio media than a HOB, less evaporation, longer service intervals. Once you have a canister, the HOB is just a drop in the bucket, might as well take it off.
