Hey MFK, i had my bichir in with my flowerhorn which suddenly after months together attacked him, one of his pectorals is almost completely gone and one is damaged pretty badly. Im not sure if theyll grow back or what...hopefully someone with this experience of knowledge of this will see this. Thanks:D

dang, i really like em too...i just dont want him to be deformed :/ well it is what it is...i think one will grow back though

it should grow back. i have a wc congicus that has a little fin from a past injury, its about half the size of the other fin been like this for over a year now so i don't think that it will come back all the way

Sure . I got 2 polys with torn fins and their starting to grow back.

Geez, people will put their fish in with Flowerhorns...

Whats wrong with that I have seen poly's in tanks with much worst fish(pacu). Though I do admit thru trial and error that a flowerhorn may not be the best tank mates for poly's. I suspect my flowerhorn of plucking my laps eye out but that same eye was cloudy the day before and none of my other poly's have an eye missing.

the damaged has been done, It happened. Means that there are chances that it will happen again. You should remove the 2 separately. It just not working.
