Ok, so, a few days ago. This dude calls me at 3 am in the morning saying he was a friend of a friend of mine who gave him my number cause he wanted to hear me sing. Well, naturally, I said it was too late and to call me some other time. I asked my friend that he mentioned about it and she said that she didn't give my number to anyone, but she had played a prank on me the other day. So I passed it off as the prank cause that was the only odd call I could remember.
Well, anyways, I had completely forgotten about it all. Well, he called again. And he told me who he was and I was like, ok, cool but my friend that he mentioned had told me that she never gave him my number. Anyways, that made me puzzled but then he goes on to say that he wants to hear for himself what the hype was about. And I was like, alright. And then I told him I usually don't sing for other guys, and he goes.
"Well, then you should probably know that I work for a record label."
And I naturally was like "Wtf are you talking about?!?" Well, apparently this guy works for Capitol Records, which I do not know about, or didn't until I looked them up. XP
Well, I got nervous, and started downplaying myself. Saying stuff like, "Well, it's Aleana, she likes anything I do, haha." And finally, I told him that I would sing. And I do, I sing Hero by Enrique Iglesias.
After the song, the guy goes. "Wow . . . wow you can really really sing, you have a very very good voice. I'm going to give your name and number to my Director and we'll give you a call later on this week."
So, long story short. I'm ****ing hyped right now foolz!!! XD Like, just singing to them is already a step, albeit a small one, but still, it's a step.
I is praying that this is real though, cause this is my dream to get into the music industry. XD Gah, lol, I should sleep but I can't. XD
Anyways, I dispelled my apprehension about him not being legit after calling this other girl I know from So Cal. I was telling her the story and then she starts laughing and tells me that it was her who told him about me. She had told the guy to say that it was "Aleana" who gave him my number instead of her and also told him not to mention the fact that he was from a record label so that I wouldn't get nervous. I was so freaken surprised, haha. Wow, she's the best. XD But yeah, that was crazy . . . so now I am just gonna wait for that call.
