Ok, I have 2 EBJD 2 cons and 1 oscar in a 55

No worries, the oscar will be gone in 2 weeks at the most...

There is PLENTY of places for the fish to hide if they are getting chased

The EBJD are both bigger than the female con, but the male con is about the same size as both EBJD.

Will they be fine together?

and i thought I would add that they are all getting along quite well

first sign of liplocking but the EB seems to be holding its own quite well =/

should be fine but ive never had ebjd let alone a jd ... but ive been keepin my eyes out for a nicely colored ebjd at the lfs but havent seen a gem yet. gl

Thanks, Im probably return one of mine if they both turn out to be males =/

I say take out the Oscar, and 1 EBJD.

they might be ok for a lil while but once the cons pair up to spawn then you got problems iv had a female and male con and once they lay eggs everything esle in that tank is dead! plus ebjd's are not that aggressive as say as a con or a reg. jd

Yeah, the O is going back and The cons are in my 20 Long

So the stock in the 55 will be the 2 EBJDs and some dithers when I get around to buying them

Which leaves me with an empty 20 tall

If the cons have fry your fish are screwed. You said 2 weeks? I would make some kind of divider or something if you have no other tanks available.

I have an empty 20 right now, the cons are in the 20 long, and the EBJD and oscar are in the 55 but the O doesnt mess with them at all so im not worried about that setup until I return the O
