I have a heater and a large air pump still going

I moved my fish into my old 100 gallon tank from my 40g, as I got back into the hobby about two months ago and wanted to make sure I was ready to commit fully again before starting the 100g up.

Anyways I went out and bought a JEBO 859 100 gallon filter, and of course, everything is set up, all fish are transferred into the tank, etc. etc. and I realize that one of the valve things is defective and preventing me from running it.

SO I gotta wait til tomorrow to go to the store and exchange it (I'm a long time customer, so they'd at least give me a new valve for free, no question).

Will my fish be ok till morning? The water is cloudy-ish, but not like brown.

sounds like the tank isnt cycled so im not so sure. if you have any biological starter i would add that according to instruction but still not the best situation...

its not the water as much as the gravel and glass because the BB doesnt jsut float free it clings to the walls, the substrate, and the filter

well they seem to be fine so far, acting normal. they ate some shrimp and pellets.
please dont feed till youre running filtration...

you shouldnt have fed them

u need established bacteria to break down the ammonia. a brand new filter is going to do u no good.

get an established filter from another tank. the fish are fine now but they will not be in a few days

read up on the nitrogen cycle!
