Will my Florida gars fin grow?

I have a Florida gar that I got today that is missing its left back pectoral fin( I think its called). The other one is intact, but the left one is a nub.. Will it grow back? Sorry I dont have any pictures.

more than likely. I had a puffer that sheared one off, it grew back fine.

Thanks, im hoping it does grow back. All this time ive been wanting another gar for my 180, and I get one with a missing fin!!

My bad, its the left pelvic fin thats nubbed.. Not the pectoral fin.

Mine was never down complete to the nub, not sure if that will grow back or not honestly.

I'd need a picture. Depends on what you consider the 'nub.' It might grow back smaller or otherwise wrong-looking. Or maybe it will be fine.

had my convicts that were breeding slip by my divider some how and tore one of my gars fins to shreads, it grew back.

As long as there is still a partial fin then I say yes. If the fin is completely down to the body, then probably not.
