will my green terror lay eggs with no male?

I recently posted a thread asking the sex of my green terror. Most said it was male. Well to my surprise yesterday morning, I saw a clutch of white colored eggs all over the bottom of my green terror's "nest" Most were attached to a large flat rock in middle of nest. So did this "male" ha ha, lay eggs??? There is no other cichlid in tank except one 2" green sevrum. Somebody clue me in, thanks.

I've had females that laid eggs pretty much every month.

My female synspilum used to lay eggs every month or so. She hasn't laid eggs since being put in the 300g community tank.
