I got a pair of brokos and a tem today, all around 2 - 2.5 inches. The person I ordered them from assured me they were around 4 inches so I went with it, only to find that these little guys are about the size of minnows! They would be eaten in a flash so I have them in a 30 gallon grow out setup for now. I don't know if I want to keep them but I'm considering keeping them if you guys think they will catch up. My bass are currently 4 - 4.5 inches and my silver aro is currently about 8 inches. Is there any hope?

the tem will probably catch up. if you power feed the little ones, and cut back on feeding the larger ones, i'd imagine it could work.

Your best bet is keeping a steady supply of feeder fish in with the smaller and only feed the larger bass once a day. Should only take a few weeks of live before the smaller bass catch up.

I've never used feeders before.. where should I get em? What type of feeder should I get?

And if they eat pellets already, will it be hard to get them back on them after a month or two of all feeders?

I wouldn't use feeders, power feed the little guys and keep the water clean and they will catch up. Feed twice a day, once pellets once tilapia.
