I recently got a female motoro ray, she has about a 6" disc size and it was pointed out to me that her tail is a little short, it about an inch 1/2 past the base of the "sting"

I did and yes I read that they done if its to close but I also read online if its past this stinger then I does.

Wanted advice on the ray not how to use the forum.

Thanks anyway I guess..

If you would have used the search function here then you would have read and everybody would have told you that tails don't grow back.

Here is the proof in the pudding! This is a WC Henlei that had it's tail damaged when being caught or handled. The tail just rounded off as it healed and is now loaded with spikes or denticles on the end. It didn't grow back any of the length.

Yea your rite, it doesn't bother me that there's a bit missing anyway, I was just bored so googled it then see that and got curious lol the worst thing I found out when I was looking was that fishermen cut rays tails off if they catch them because they don't want to get stung :( humans sicken me sometimes
