I have 3 small ones at 1", planning on getting another 3 or 6. Since I'm feeding floating pellets, I don't think they'll be able to get leftover food. Should I put in veggies just for them, or will they be fine on algae?

Mine like the algae wafers ,I just drop a couple in every other day or two

These guys seem to be great algae eaters, they're tiny but I noticed some algae on my filter intake gone :D

JW, since I already have a thread made, will angels grow big enough to eat these guys? I might go corycats rather than extra otos if they do.

Ty :D

The answer is that you should absolutely suppliment food for your otos. Algae is simply just not enough to sustain them for long periods of time. So veggies and algae waffers would be good. Your angels will eventually get large enough to eat your otos. but if you provide plenty of plants and hiding places i dont see why you couldnt sustain a healthy colony of otos.

Thanks, do you recommend any specific veggie or should I give them a varied diet? I was thinking cucumbers, dunno anything else :D
