Right now I have 3 swordtails in QT that I'm planning on introducing to my 75 gallon tank. The male is noticeably larger than the 2 females (the male is 4-5 inches long, the females are 1-2 inches long-ish). Do you think the females will be eaten if I put them into my 75 gallon? The main cichlid I'm worrying about is my female copadichromis which is 6-7 inches long. I also have a few adult-sized peacocks and a 4 inch long salvini that might also eat the swordtails.

Also, at what size are swordtail females able to give birth to young?

Attached is a picture of the copadichromis female that I mentioned:

I'm probably going to put them in a 29 for now until they get to 3-4 inches. They'll be fine with a 3-4 inch female convict and some serpaes right?
Given enough hiding spots it should work. Are the swords closer to 2 inches or 1?
