Will my tank be ok?

I've got a 30 gallon long that i want to put my pond fish in. The stand i have it on doesn't have a brace across the middle of it and the mooden board i have for it is about 1/2" too small on all sides. So will I be able to fill it up without any supports underneath it or will the bottom break?

could you post pic please? are you saying that the table part is too small so the glass is sitting directly on wood and not the braces? if so then yes the bottom WILL break
