Hi, I have a 55 gallon, powered with a Penguin350 filter. I have 2 oscars and 2 parrot cichilds in it at the moment. I plan to be moving them to a 125 in the next few months, but since I do regular water changes, the tank will stay clean, right? Thanks!

The one guarantee in this hobby is that there are no guarantees. The tank SHOULD remain clean provided you keep up on the maintenance. But, anything can happen (power failure, overfeeding, something gets dumped into the tank, disease, failed heater, etc.)

The only way to avoid Murphy, the aquarist, is to buy a really good picture book and enjoy looking at fish that way.

Don't worry, I don't over feed. I follow the rules of feeding. I'm just not that used to predators, cause I only own 4 predators. Just the all the fish I own:

14 Betta splendens (10 male, 3 female and 1 half giant female)
1 Blushing Koi Angel
1 Partail Albino Blue Paradise Gourami
1 Black Neon Tetra
1 Tiger Oscar
1 Albino Tiger Oscar
2 Serpae Tetras
2 Ghost Catfish
2 Blood Parrots
4 Long Finned Pineapple Zebra Danios
6 Neon Tetras
