Will Pictus play nice with a Pike Cichlid

I've set up a blackwater Amazon Biotope recently with a Pike Cichlid and a Rhino Pleco. The Pike is a Saxatilis sp. of some sort or another (they are difficult to positively ID until fully grown), she likes to hang out towards the top of the tank, and doesn't bother the pleco at all. (she will max out at 10 inches)

Do you think that Pictus Catfish would make a good addition to the tank populus or will they have scuffs with the pike?

What ratio of pictus to pike cichlid have you successfully kept?

I have had luck with pipes or structure that a pike will fit in but the cats won't, I think the cats don't like a confined space that their whiskers touch.
