Hey everybody, i have two 5-7 inch plecos in a 50 gallon tank powered by an fx5....i feel if i add them to the almost newly cycled 72 gallon...thier strings of crab would get tangled in the fake plants and cause ammonia spikes.... Which would get me annoyed as it been a more then a month ive been cycling it. So far apable of bringing 5mpp of ammonia to 0 in 10 hours..

It's a new tank right? Why would you want to put plecos in there now? There is no algae so you will have to feed them. Also if your worried about the poo simply don't get any

Heard plecos are notoriosly known to not be good algae eaters...as I'm told. Only the bushy nose seem to be the best. I was just wondering if they were a big bio-load factor...
