I have 2 albino and 2 endli poly. Some days ago I put a number of little goldfish as their food. But the number is drastically down. By 3 days, no goldfish left and the poly "smile" with a big fat belly . I notice the sticky thread mention about being obese. But would poly eat to death? Fish I've known eat to death is betta/siamese fighting fish. I wish they eat like my green terror...:nilly:

Thanks

Feeding them goldfish is feeding them Thiaminase, a destroying hormone.
So yes, in a sense they are feeding to their death.

I've had a couple of experience with some Sens that ate to death...the first one, I'd figured it would death roll a worm that I gave it:( It just tried eating the whole thing and it ended up choking. Another was more recent. I got a SB Sen and that one just kept eating to the point that I think something burst inside as it had a nasty air bubble by it's stomach.
