Will rays eat live snails?

I know SW rays eat various bottom creatures like crabs and snails but will my FW ray do the same? If so I have a HUGE supply of snails and if the ray will eat them it should be good. If not I dont want to risk a snail invasion of my tank!

Stingray S-car-Go.. i dont see why they wouldnt if the ray is a good eater...

Most will munch on them from time to time, but I wouldn't trust it as a staple in their diet by any means.

I had some 1" gold mystery snails in my 180 with a pair of histrix.

From time to time I would find an empty shell. Then I caught the predator. I watched my male histrix move the snail around, position it in front of his mouth and literally work the snail right out of the shell. Pulled it right out of there.

My montoros eat rams horn snails all the time i have the snails breeding in a pond out back.

How big where the rays and snails and how did they eat em? Shell and all or did they suck em out?
