Will rosies breed easily?

I don't usually see rosie red minnows listed when people talk about easy-to-breed feeders, but of course they're frequently purchased as feeders in bulk.

Are they not the easiest to breed casually or are they actually prolific?

If they're not difficult to breed, what kind of conditions are likely to induce spawning?

not that easy. Try mosquito fish, much easier to breed and neat little fish as well.

Super easy, same as guppies really. Live bearers as well, only larger size for feeders.

I'm a little late but they were easy for me. I threw them(7) in a 2,000 gal intex pool and 3 months later...I had hundreds. I can't even guess if they bred more then once.
