will salvini caudal fin grow back?

My male salvini attacked my female salvini and bit off her whole caudal fin leaving nothing but a little white piece left shes been recovering for the past 2 weeks her wounds healed but I was just wondering will her fin ever grow back I hope so cause she was quite the stunner!
 
Pics would help greatly. I've had a texas that had her tail fin torn off but there was enough left for it to grow back. So there could be hope

I've had the same problem with a salvini.

My old male salvini got in a fight with a grammodes. The grammodes took a big bite out of the salvini's tail. It never grew back, just healed. It was split in two. Looked like he had two tails :(
 
ive had malawii lose the lot back to flesh and grow back fine, its hit and miss when the lot is gone....
