Will silver dollars eat java moss?

I know they will eat most plants. I had them eat hornwort in the past.

Thanks, don't think I'll be adding java moss then. I know some fish will leave certain plants alone, but I guess SD will eat anything. Mine also love meatty foods, and will steal food from my oscar lol..

back when i had my silver dollars they ate ANY live plant i put in the tank and even shredded a few fake plants

Mine are actually red hooks. I have them with Pbass and they eat everything I throw in the tank and the plants. They haven't eaten all the java fern yet just ate the tips but the moss is gone.
