Last week my jag decided he wanted to make his home inder the rock where the gt's spawn.... the male gt lfrom what i can see beat the jag pretty bad... his face is really messed up not sure if you can see in the pics... he hasnt came out in days and hasnt ate since... the male gt cant fit all the way inn which is the reason i think he is still in there... im worried he might be injured through out the body but i cant see... they are the same size the makle gt is about twice as wide and heavy he is really stocky... i threw inn a pic of him for reference...will he eventually come out? or should leave him alone? how much longer can he go without eating?

What size is the tank?

If you're worried take him out and put a divider. GTs can be nasty and if the male is much bigger I wouldn't risk it. He's probably hiding because he's scared to death.

what size tank do you have? even a fully grown jag wouldn't do very well against a pair of green terrors. He's gotta have enough space and visual barriers to hide from the GT's.

Wait til the Jag gets bigger and it will be the GT getting beaten up.

one on one sure but I don't think a jag can beat a breeding pair of GTs

Gt is more mature at that size jag still juvenile somewhat give the jag time it will surely even the odds ot will not starve if it is mortally injured theres not much you can do anyway so better to let well enough alone on another note for future reference it is a good idea to remove tankmates when you have a breeding pair in the tank
