One of the tanks in my fish room is a 77 gal housing 1 clown knife at 6'', a silver arowana at 8-9'' and a tiger shovelnose at 7-8''. I was thinking about keeping them in this tank for a while before up sizing, at this point they get along great. At what percentage do you think the TSN may make dinner out of either the CK or arowana, 100%,80%,50%,10% Thanks for any input.

really soon......what is the dimensions of the tank? and when do you plan on upgrading?

I dont think that much. The knife and him will probably be the 2 brawling mostly since they are on the bottom. But all 3 fish are capable of dishing out some blows.

They both should last a little while the clown will probably be the first to be eaten

i think it might be the arow.

the knife should be too tall for the tsn to eat, if they are close in length.
the aro though is a different story..

IN MY EXPERIANCE, THE KNIFE, IF FED WELL WILL GROW AS FAST AS THE TIGER. THEY MAY FIGHT A LITTLE THOUGH

my clown has outgrown my tsn ... by far ... i feed heavy though, and with the TSN only eating at night, the CK gets way more food ... in my experience the catfish grow slower because they can't eat as often as their tankmates

i would be more worried about the aro, but not yet ... once the TSN gets 4-5" bigger than the aro i would worry ... my 10" tsn took down a 6" silver (in his defense, it was my fault because i was starving him to get him onto pellets)
