is that a 20 or 30 gallon? if its 20 I would say sorry to small, if it is 30 I would say you could do it.

Africa butterfly and leopard ctenopoma are both good looking predatory fish, but they are not too aggressive so they should get along, and as long as your congo tetras are fairly large then they should be ok but I would say minimum 30 gallons.

On top of what the previous post says I would like to add that I have a thirty gallon tank with atleast eigjt different cichlids in it. Some say they shpuldnt be together, but they have been for months with no problems.so I would say that it also just depends on a single fishs personality, not just the breed tupe

so the fish usually okay, but the tank is too small..okay i will buy a larger tank then.by the way, what kind of substrate i need for these fish?

Yes those fish could work, but it will be alitle tight for the ctenopama.
I personally have two leopard ctenopamas with and african buttery fly, peters elephant nose, Senegal bichir, cookoo catfish all in a 50 gallon with allot of plant and driftwood.
