Those are stress marks they should be gone as soon as he settles in good. Give him a week are so. Don't be surpise to see them return from time to time. Especially if you have a female in the tank.

If he is in the same tank as the oscar and green terror I would watch him closely to see how aggressive he will be especially as he matures.

he's in with 2 RTGG's, p. bass, clown knife, and a TSN. he kept fighting with my p. bass so i put up a seperater. so now it's just him. the stripes have been on this guy for weeks (been eyeing him at the fish store for almost a month, before i bough him. he was kept by himself, hidden (one of the employees was saving it for himself). all the other FH that he came in with had the telltale faint stripes. but this guys stripes really stand out. he's buy himself so i'll give it a couple days to see if they fade.

i dont have to side scroll on my end, maybe its my computer.

Might be stress coz it's in a tank with larger fish. What size is it? ZZ strains of Fhs breed very early, even at just the juvenile stage and barring is one sign that it may be ready to breed. Do you feed it with live food? Feeding with live food sometimes hastens the breeding process in Fhs.
