Will they be OK with each other???

I have a 55 gallon (i posted a thread ealier in the week asking if i could keep and arow in it) Any way at the moment i have 2 severums (6 and 7 inches) in there and my LFS last order is on wednesday until the new year, and i am getting an arow for christmas, but the sevs are not leaving until the weekend after christmas.
My question is will the be OK together untill the sevs leave?, the arow will be 5-6 inchs.
Any help would be greatfull. :D
 
are you planning on upgrading the tank as an aro will not live in that size for very long.
i grew out a green asian aro in a 85g 48x20x20 for about 7 months from 5'' to 11'' but it needed a bigger tank and got one.
a 55g at 12'' wide would probably only last a few months maybe 3-4 at most
 
a 55 would be good for a Small aro, but its best to go Bigger so you can keep the fish longer. A 180 would be good for awhile.
 
You will need at least a 180gal for your aro. which generally get along with sevs. given ample room!

Use a tank divider until U git rid of the Severums...Then look forward to buying a larger tank for Ur Arowana next Christmas... :screwy: :screwy: :screwy:
 
My tank is 17 inches wide not 12 or 15 it is 40 long and 19 high bow front (crazy mesurements)
So will it be OK for a while longer than 4 months??
I have ample filtration (wet/dry over head filter) and going to add my canister from my old 30 gallon, i also have a bubble wall for extra oxygen.
So how long until i have to up grade??
How much water do they need like oscars need 55 gallon a fish what about a 12inch arow?

what size tank is your 10 inch arow in???
 
Mine 10" is in a 55 and is happy. He will be getting a new home for Christmas. I have a Red Devil, 4 Bichirs, and a Frontosa all in that 55.....no problems. :thumbsup:
