Will they eat your small fish?

What?

Depends on teh species and individual upbringing etc. I keep a black aro with discus.
I wouldn't with other type of aro.

It also depends on the temperment of the aro. Some will be fine with smaller tank mates, but it's always a risk.

yes most probably theyll eat anything that fits on their mouth if they are hungry.
but AROs are not gluttons unlike flowerhorns... theyre more disciplined on food, they wont stuff themselve too much.

My old aro use to eat anything that would fit in its mouth. But my new aro only eats pellets. Tryed some feeders and it has no interest. They have been in there for like 5 months and they just keep growing. They were tilapia fry though, not rosies, or goldfish.
