I have a 46 gallon bow tank with 2 mated pairs of angelfish in it.I have one of those home depot light diffusers in it as a tank divider. One of the pairs laid eggs.Should hatch any day now.I want them to parent raise. My question is,when the fry become free swimming will they try to swim through the divider(holes are large enough for them to do that)and possibly get eaten by the other pair?Or will the parents prevent them from doing so?

Most likely curiosity will get the best of them and they'll swim through the holes and most likely get eaten.Fish have too many babies to be able to keep an eye on all of them.
