I was just about to buy a 180 gallon tank when I came across a great deal on
a Marineland deep dimension 200 gallon tank.
The dimensions on the 200 are 48x36x27 vs the 72x24x24 of the 180.

My stocking list is:
1- Tiger Oscar
1- Jaguar Cichlid
1- Red Bay Snook
1-Lima Shovelnose Catfish
6- Filament Barbs.

Will the deep dimension work or will it be too short in length?

It is such a good deal I just had to consider it.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Go for the length...but even with the 72" may not be enough for Oscar to survive the jag..,hit or miss.

I suggest trading in the jag for something less awesome in the aggression department.

sounds like a great size. it's more than adequate. your stocking is on the light side compared to some of the tanks I've seen on here around that size. if you get the jag and the oscar young then you might be able to get them used to eachother.
