Will this be big enough?

My dad and i is planning to build a above ground pond. We already have a site where we are going to be building it. The dimensions are 8'X5'X3'. You guys think that will be big enough for kois? I calculated the dimensions and it came up to be 897 gallons.

Yes just a few. Maybe like 4 or 5.
