My house
me and my friends went to petco to buy mice to breed to feed my friends dwarf cayman. but i was wondering is it ok to feed the baby mice to my fish? please help me out

dont see why it wouldnt be ok

What kind of fish ?

If there pinkys then generally yes but its very messy and they have a good amount of fat in them some once in a great while is okay but souldn't be a staple feed them once a month at most

Depending on your fish really that should be used as a general rule

I tried feeding pinky mice to my RBPs in the past. they nipped a few times, but after the mouse drowned, they lost interest. basically, I watched a baby mouse bleed and drown to death for hours before I finally had to clean up the mess.

it was a bad idea. never tried it again.

spotted gar, polypterus senegalus, rtc, oscar, and pacu

If they'll eat it, fine. just make it a suplement, not a staple.

mouse cages do stink, though. If I was gonna raise feeders they'd either be fish or worms in a compost heap.
