Well I am currently keeping only Central and South American Cichlids but really want to start another African Mixed tank. Here's my line up for potential tankmates. Feel free to give any positive or negatvie feedback you want. These are just some of my favorites and I'd like to combine them all in 1 tank. The tank is a 120 gallon reef tank.

Current colony of clown loaches ( i already have these)
Trio of Moba Frontosa ( I'd like just 1 male but have heard they do better in groups)
1 male Petrochromis Trewavase
1 male or a pair C. Moreii (M. Dolphin)
1 Peacock (not sure which 1 yet)
1 compressiceps

Ok guys what do you think of this mix?

could definitely work IMO, but I'd leave the Petrochromis out. Also, by compressiceps do you mean altolamp or dimidiochromis?

Dimidiochromis. And why do you think I should take out the Petrochromis? I had 1 years ago with a group of Frontosa and he did fine.

Yes, meaning that the petro was with Nonmalawi (fronts) in the past experience, and your current mix would put him with all malawi.

You are comparing current possible tankmates with past tank mates not what petrochromis are. Hope that makes better sense to you.
