I have a 210g with 3 pictus cats, 1 tiger oscar, and 3 firemouths.

Right now they are all getting along just fine, but i want to add a clown knife fis. Everything ive read says they should co-exist fine, but that the knifes get huge.

will adding the clown knife be a problem?

in terms of aggression you will most likely be ok, but the problem is the knife will be able to eat the firemouths, so I'd remove them...maybe add A. roberstsoni in their place

Fish can eat anything that will fit in their mouths. And clown knifes get a big mouth. Firemouths will disappear eventually.

is a 210 even enough room for a CK?

as a single fish a 210 is fine for a ck but not with tankmates that it can eat. the current stock sounds fine

I think it should be fine.... but if you plan to keep the CK for life.... you may need to upgrade to a bigger tank once its fully grown.... but if you decide to part with your other fishes later, and you don't plan on getting more fishes... then the tank should be enough for the ck.

hmm, well that is too bad. I don't like the sound of that. Can anyone suggest another unique fish that I could add to my current setup (1st post)? I think i have room for 1 more decent sized fish, if not as big as the CK
