Will this fin grown back?

Will this caudal fin on this crenicichla regani grow back or has too much been damaged?

just to provide more details the damage is from aggression by a pair that formed in the tank this girl was in. this fish is still swimming around fairly actively, I haven't seen it eat but it has been pretty stressed, I've had it in isolation in a fry breeder box in a different tank. the tail is pretty mangled, I feel like it might not, if it isn't right at the base, its very close.

I doubt that the tail will grow back. Too much of the tail is gone.

I have a black aro that lost its tail, like down to the meat of it. I didn't think it would grow back but it did. You might get lucky.
