Do you guys think that this can fit my 40 gallon? I need tops for my 40 and that will be my finish to the tank. And would I need a glass canopy too? Thanks.

you can't put a 20'' hood on a 36'' tank.

Look carefully, there are different sizes to choose from sizes 20" to 48". I might get the 36" for my 40. I think it'll fit perfectly. If I get the hood, will I need a glass canopy?

Thanks fisheatfish. I'm going to pick it up today and get some filter pads for my emp 400. Then, all I need is a stand for my 40 which we already have a connection to. So, my 40 is going to be setup soon.
