will this happen to my silver arowana and clown loaches?

i really don't know but looking at that picture makes me hate arowanas! Poor little loach

ive seen some big clown loach's with arowanas at the fish shops they hav a two foot silver arowan with 7 inch plus clown loach fish. but poor little guy

I would thing anything that can fit in an Aros mouth is fair game.

Poor loach, and poor Aro if he catches an ocular.

My 16 inch Silver tried eating one of my loaches a few months ago. I got the silver as a baby and raised him with a group of CLs. I figured since they grew up together, the silver wouldn't view the clowns as food, but I was wrong. The silver now has his own 240G in the garage.

Did he eat any of the loaches, or did you remove him first?

I was watching TV then I heard some commotion in the tank. The aro was splashing water around. I thought that was strange because he usually isn't very jumpy, so I went over to take a closer look and I saw he had caught one of my smaller 3" loaches. I grabbed a net and was able to get my aro to release the loach. He swam off with only a few scratches. They didn't look that serious, but the loach died 3 days later. I love the look of tanks with monster aros with a school of loaches. Some people are able to pull it off, but it's a gamble.

I HAD A LMB AND IT ATE TWO LOACHES i dont know wat kind they where but they were blue with orange fins and then the lmb ate a tiger loach 5"s long
